Eat Out - January
2007
Photographs by
Diane and Christoph Heierli (F&H)
Dark wood tables are highlighted by red hanging
lamps above each one and a feeling of laidback dining is initiated
by red-checkered tea towel napkins. Having a ‘bring it
on’ attitude (the best way to enjoy and taste) can hurt
the pocket but it is good and varied fare. It really is hard
to get enough of those tender tasty lamb cutlets with cumin and
coriander sauce. To avoid getting hooked on this tapas plate
all night, be sure to sample the diced tuna loin with cannellini
bean salad and the puff pastry parcels of oven roasted peppers,
asparagus and caprino. And don’t stand on ceremony with
the chorizo served with galette it must be eaten immediately.
Service is highly professional. A good selection of wines with
some interesting options.
