Men’s Health

Within walking distance of many offices, this casual, small, brick, and wood eatery offers a cosy, low-lit haven from the busy street-and the food’s really authentic in flavour. On the move private upstairs floor, you can sit at a cosy booth, or downstairs at the small tables. The tapas menu offers dishes like Moroccan meatballs; diced tuna loin served with a cannelloni bean salad; and mini kudu fillets with chilli potato puree and garlic spinach with a citrus reduction. It’s very friendly, yet never slapdash, and the food will seduce your table fellows.

Business Factor; The small plate tapas menu means the table doesn’t have to get clutted, plus they offer lunch specials for a quick in and out.

Best Table; For small groups of two to four, the private booths upstairs are excellent. There’s also a private eight-seater booth

Drink; Go for the Vriesenhof Pinot Noir or the Crios Bribe Sauvignon Blanc.

Insider Tip; The raviolone isn’t on the menu, but ask for it.
